How To Find The Perfect Shade Of Red Lipstick..

Finding a shade of red that suites your skin tone can be quite a hard and daunting task, but I have a few tips on how to find the correct colour for you!

First of all, it all boils down to whether you are cool-toned or warm-toned. Being cool-toned means that you have more pink undertones and being warm-toned means that you have more yellow undertones.

1. Deep and dark shades are more easily worn than bright reds on most people.

2. Seeing as warm toned reds have a yellow/orangey base to them, they are more flattering for warm-toned people. And cool-toned reds which have a blue/pink undertone are more flattering for cool-toned skin. Cool toned red’s are much easier to get away with for most people!

3. Go for more matte formulas, as glossy or balms are more prone to bleeding. Of course, you can prevent this by apply a lip liner before hand!

Also, if you are using a matte formula, be sure to prep your lips with a lip balm before hand to prevent drying!
